Our newest commercial!

We've put together a bunch of commercials for wedding vendors in Dallas Fort Worth, Austin, & Lubbock.   Finally did one for RRE.  About 85% of the brides we show wedding video to (that were on the fence about wanting it) decide it's important to them.  For businesses, video is important, too, as it helps with SEO and conversion.  Contact us today if you'd like to book video for your wedding or need help with online video & optimization.

Another Awesome Thank You!

Ashley Miller is a 4 Star Bride, meaning she chose us as her MC/DJ, Videographer, Lighting Design, and Photo Booth company.  When her and Eugene arrived at their Marriott Renaissance Richardson Dallas Hotel reception they wanted to see the ballroom before the guests came in.  The ballroom was glowing in pink up lighting and there was a huge "M" initial on the wall behind their Cup Cake Desert bar.  Ashley's main focus was to get into our Dallas Photo Booth right away.  Here is the picture and note she sent us on Facebook.

"People are still talking about how much fun the had in the photo booth!  We thought we would add our favorite photo booth pic to your page!  Thanks again!  Can't wait to see the wedding video!  DJ Michael was fantastic and the uplighting looked incredible."

Photobooth = Fun!

Fort Worth photo booth from Randy Ro Entertainment
This pictures shows our Dallas photo booth in action at a recent Colleyville wedding.  Sure, there are eight guests in this photo but our record is 12!  With our photo station, we can get even more in the shot.  The photo station is not quite as fun as our real photo booths but I don't think guests care as long as they are getting their pictures taken!

Nothing is hotter at a Dallas Wedding Reception than a photo booth!  Randy Ro Entertainment provides several kinds of fun event photo services through it's Texas Phototainment Company.

Randy Ro Entertainment produces the Dancing on a Cloud First Dance effect at several Dallas Wedding Venues every month.  For this wedding at the Dallas Arboretum we are also providing the chandeliers, up lighting, and monogram (nicely caught on top of the cloud by Premiere Photographer, Kelle Bryant!).  Wedding Decor & lighting and draping design in Dallas has become a major component of Randy Ro Entertainment.

As Beautiful Inside as Out!

Once again, I am proud of the fact that our Colleyville Wedding DJ Team did an outstanding job on Crystal and Nate's wedding!  By the way, Nate is a cool guy!  He flys for the Air Force and is as nice as Crystal..wait, is that possible?)  The ceremony and reception were at Piazza in the Village, across the street from our Colleyville Wedding Planning office.  The Piazza is an amazing venue, with incredible food, and the most attentive staff!  It always feels like home when we DJ there.  : )

The Team:
Venue: Piazza in the Village
Florals:  Ed Barrett, Signature Productions
Photographer: Stefani "Vaughan" Peterson, TRU Identity Photography & Designs
Colleyville Wedding Videographer:  Randy Ro Entertainment

This was a busy night for us.  I was at Ashton Gardens, Bob at Old Red Museum,  and Mike did the ceremony and Fort Worth wedding reception DJ services at Fossil Creek Country Club.  Great night to be a Dallas Wedding DJ!

Texas Wedding Guide, Brides of North Texas, D Weddings, Grace Ormonde

Weddings that Fort Worth Wedding DJ, Randy Ro Entertainment is involved with are frequently featured in wedding magazines.  It's not uncommon to see 10 featured weddings and we may have done 3 or 4 of them.  It's also not uncommon that we don't get mentioned in the articles.  That is usually reserved for the paid advertisers.  We are frequently mentioned and  featured in the Texas Wedding Guide, who we are partnering with for the Dream Wedding Give Away and several other projects.

It was great to see us mentioned in this "Real Wedding" on D Magazines website!   Lindsey and Ryan were married at the Robert Carr Chapel and the reception followed at The Colonial Country Club.  They selected a great team of vendors.   It was our pleasure to provide MC/DJ, Lighting, and Videography services for them.

Texas Wedding Guide Photo Shoot - The WOW Factor!

This stunning and surreal photo shoot for the current issue of The Texas Wedding Guide was designed by the amazing Ed Barrett at Signature Productions.  We were there for three days on the top floor of CityPlace in Dallas.  The room is a blank canvas (which is a wedding design and decor artist's dream).  Randy Ro Entertainment added the columns around the room.  Posh brought in the most outrageous furniture you'll ever see.  The stands are "one of a kind" brushed silver, made just for a wedding Ed & I did last summer.

To get this look:

  • Design & Flowers, Ed Barrett, Signature Productions
  • Furniture, Posh
  • Dallas Lighting & Draping, Randy Ro Entertainment
  • Amazing empty ballroom with outrageous views of Dallas, CityPlace

Today was a Fairytale

Rebecca & Brennan had a fairytale wedding.  We started the videography at Rebecca's home early in the morning, followed to the church, and then the reception at the Colleyville Center.  There were so many magical moments packed into a few short hours. We were honored to be their Master of Ceremony, DJ, Videographer, and, last but certainly not least, the photo booth!

Thanks to a great team!
By the way, my two favorite lines in Rebecca's thank you note are "I could not have been happier" and "the photo booth book is a wonderful keepsake"!   We loved working with Rebecca and Brennan!

Thank you from Janet and Steven Yi.

Janet called me from Kentucky where she works as a TV news reporter.  She would only be in Dallas a few times before the wedding and we would need to do most of the planning via email, telephone, and our online planning.  As you can tell by her very thoughtful thank you note, everything went beyond her expectations.  The thing I'm proudest of is that I wasn't the MC/DJ for her reception (I was already booked).  One of our great DJ's, Mike Sanderson, was keeping the flow and playing the music,  Great job, Mike!  Thank you, Janet and Steven, for letting us be a part of your special day!  By the way, the picture is actually the cover to their thank you note.  That's fabulous!

From a fabulous Mother of the Bride! (Yes, that's you, Betsy!)

both, from the bottom of my tired, but HAPPY, heart, for helping to make Tracey and Zach's Wedding so WONDERFUL--FABULOUS--INCREDIBLE!!!
You two are just THE BEST and we are so grateful we had you on our "Team!"
The flowers were GORGEOUS--so many people raved and raved and we were proud to tell them all about you, Ed!
And Randy--I know we were annoying--hopefully in a mostly nice way--but you were patient and sweet and kind and did a FANTASTIC  JOB!!! Before and during the wedding. You are a Rock Star!

Still more nice words from Katie and Jett...

I had the honor of working with Katie and Jett on August 15th at Canyon Creek Country Club in Richardson. I cannot say how much I enjoy what I do without thinking of couples like Katie and Jett. Super couple, super wedding!

PSU Viking, Dallas Cowboy, Kansas City Chief, Tony Curtis!

Angelina and Tony Curtis had a specific picture in mind when we were booked to do the lighting decor for their reception at the Piazza in the Village. Angelina later said the room looked just like she imagined!

It's a Celebration!

On a Friday night in June we were part of Ashley and David's celebration. Ashley (a TCU student) said her friends told her how much fun they had and it was one of the best receptions they've been to. That is the best thing a bride can tell us!

I love this picture by Erica Joyce Photography! By the way, Erica and Jake are expecting! Go to this link and read down to the video. You'll really enjoy it!

June Wedding, Inc at The Piazza in the Village

June Wedding held their February meeting at The Piazza in the Village.  We were honored to do the Room Decor Lighting for this gorgeous event!  Here we are using purple Up Lighting with purple Design on the walls.  Alex Smith at The Piazza always has a vision and we do our best to implement it.  What is your vision?

Don't settle for ordinary!

Tonight we provided lighting services at Piazza in the Village for Christine and Jonathan's Wedding on Platinum Weddings. Christine likes the great outdoors so we brought it inside for her reception. Through lighting and design we can turn your room into anything you like. Why settle for ordinary when we can make your reception extraordinary!

The Piazza in the Village is the ultimate venue for Weddings and Receptions! Ed Barrett of Signature Productions does amazing floral design!

Castles

A recent article in the Dallas Examiner suggested Destination Weddings without leaving home.  Villa Antonio in Lake Travis, Texas, was pictured in the article.  (If you need a DJ in Austin, call R.J. Johnson or... of course, we travel!). For those of you in the Dallas /Fort Worth area, The Old Red Museum in downtown Dallas also offers a castle look and feel.  It sits right on Dealey Plaza with views of the Book Depository building, Reunion Tower, and your guests can even tour the museum while you are taking your final wedding pictures!  Nikki and Matt are getting married there in April and I'm really excited to be their MC/DJ!

Will they dance?

One of the biggest hurdles for inexperienced DJ's  is getting people to dance.  Brides frequently tell me it is their biggest reception fear (second only to guests not having fun!).  Experienced DJ's have many techniques to fill the dance floor.  The truly great DJ's have started setting the stage before the wedding party arrives!  This picture is from a TCU Sorority event we did at The Chateau at Forest Park (and are doing again tonight at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center!) and I can only be excited by the number of potential brides on the dance floor!

Kristin and Geoff

The earliest reception I've DJ'd was Kristin and Geoff's. It started at 11am! You can tell by this picture that they were having a great time! Geoff is in the Air Force and we would like to thank both him and Kristin for their service. Military wives are often overlooked for the sacrifice they make! They currently live at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan.

Variations on The Ringing of the Glasses

Besides the Grand Entrance, the time before the Wedding Party arrives really sets the tone for the rest of the evening.  We use it to get your guests warmed up, involved, and ready for the celebration!  At Kevin and Johanna's afternoon reception, the longest married couple is showing the rest of the guests how it's done!  : )   We were actually in the Pacific Northwest for this wedding.

Kristen and Brandon

I met with Kristen and Brandon on Sunday (before the Cowboy's game!) to start planning for what is going to be a great reception at City Club in Fort Worth.  Today their engagement pictures were posted by their outstanding photographer, Tracy Autem at Lightly Photography.  I can't wait to see the Ceremony and Reception pictures!   http://lightlyphoto.blogspot.com/2008/11/kristen-brandon-engaged.html

Great Venues

We have the pleasure of working at all sorts of venues. This weekend Randy Ro Entertainment covered eight specific events. The value of being busy is that we get to see different venues, their business practices and their effectiveness, first hand. If you are wondering about a specific location for your wedding or reception, just ask.

Today's recommended venue is The Sanford House Inn and Spa in Arlington, Texas. It is a wonderful place for your wedding and reception! Ask for Amanda Graham, Certified Wedding Planner.

Annie Chen found us via the internet.  She is from Dallas but lives in Washington State.  All of our planning, except for one meeting, was done with emails and phone calls.   By the time we did their reception I felt like I really knew them, not only because of the emails, but because of all the time I spent putting together their photo montage.  We did a presentation at the end of dinner that their guests really enjoyed.  I highly recommend using a photo montage during your reception.   Much love and thanks to Annie and Andy Allen!
